Armagh, Northern Ireland
The Archdiocese of Armagh launched
Vision for the Future, a
£7 million campaign in 2001. The St. Patrick's
Cathedral portion totaled
£ 5 million toward
the goal, a further £2 million was invested in
the Development of Lay Ministries and toward the Care and Welfare of
the Diocesan Clergy. This campaign exceeded its target and
over 2,750 volunteers were recruited to help with the programme.
Several million was raised for parishes own use to be invested in
new services and infrastructure at a local level. Vision
for the Future was the first diocesan campaign to incorporate
two political and economic jurisdictions working with Euro and
Sterling currencies.

Glasgow, Scotland
In 2004, the
Archdiocese of Glasgow launched a
£7 million
campaign with the pledge goal achieved by the following summer.
The main focus of the Archbishop's vision was to promote the
development of Parish Life throughout the Archdiocese.
This would help secure the future of the Church by primarily
investing in parish initiatives that would serve its people for many
years to come. CCS helped
the Archdiocese develop, manage and promote the first programme of
its kind in Glasgow.
